I bought this part to upgrade my 8.5 GM rear end. It's been sitting on my garage due to poor quality it look like and old wearout part that was clean very good and coated with black plastic like paint. I would not recommended to anybody at all.. I let it sit for a while in my garage and was planned to do this work at a later date but, after opening the box where it came in was diapointed. it's kind of late now to returned so, I'll have to keep it.. Bad deal!
