Coat is heavy and warm, BUT although it really does keep you warm and has lots of great pockets, if you wanted to carry your coat if you got too warm, it must weigh 10 lbs! Its weight wears you down.Hood does not remove, nor does it stay up. Worthless hood.This is the warmest coat - so far I've had to open it completely when walking in 40 degree weather with only a long tee under it. Love the side zippers, pockets, and bright color. It keeps me safe walking in the woods during hunting season - wish more bright colors were available! I am 5'4" and 175 lb but a 40.5 chest. I chose the XL as I wanted to be sure I could layer a sweatshirt or heavy top underneath. Despite the size chart, if I had ordered the L I wouldn't have been able to wear the sweatshirt, so consider this when selecting your size. The sleeves are long for me but because they cover the wrists and glove edges fully, I can't complain - that makes them very warm! My only "wish" is that the front pockets also had a hand-warmer slot behind them. They are hard to use from the top so I'll rarely be able to walk with my hands in my pockets. Otherwise, and excellent and very warm jacket!This is a excellent winter coat! This kept me warm in Chicago weather. I like the color and length it's very long on me but it's keeps my legs warm.I had earlier purchased this brand for my daughter and thought I was buying the same thing. I loved her coat and was amazed at the warmth, so I bought another (so I thought). Once I wore this one outside I checked the description and realized it was not the same coat and not as warm. Her coat is the Canada Weathergear Heavyweight Anorak Parka and this one is the Long Puffer coat. Looks almost the same so easy to mistake. It is still a nice coat but not the really cold temperature coat I thought I was getting. RATS! I will still enjoy it in higher winter temps but already had a coat for those temps and didn't really need another one.I actually really like this coat- it seems really really warm. Removeable fur trim on the hood, zippers by the legs so you can bundle up and still sit comfortably, the buttons have elastic on them, instead of being sewed on so that's good quality too. Nice big pockets. I'm only giving this 2 stars because it was obviously tried on before I got it and there's pen markings on the front pocket (super obvious spot).Really nice coat. Warm enough for daily winter wear in the Midwest. Breathable, which I like! I kept the Large even though it's a bit big, so it will fit comfortably over bulky sweaters. A medium would have worked also, as it is roomy.Oh my gosh! I'm in love with this coat! I was hesitant in purchasing this because the size of the 1x wasn't entirely clear. But, after asking fellow Amazon customers I went ahead and ordered it. And I'm so glad I did! The 1x is is plenty roomy I would say it would fit a woman size 18/20 with still some wiggle room. I'm 5' 8 and it hits right in the middle of my thighs just above the knee. Also, the more you wear it the warmer it gets. I have never loved a coat more than this one! Buy it you will not be dissatisfied!Keeps you super warm, love the length. So cute!I ordered and returned over a dozen coats from Amazon before I found this one. This coat is a gorgeous color, stylish, and warm. I ordered the indigo satin color with asymmetrical zip. There are 2 zippers, one for an inner panel that zips up to your neck, and one for the outside. I wear a size 14 and ordered a L, which fits me perfectly.Eine wunderschöne und sehr warme Jacke die dabei nicht schwer ist wie andere Winterjacken. Es ist mittlerweile meine zweite Winterjacke von dieser Firma.Schade nur dass man sie in Amerika bestellen muss und hohe Lieferkosten und Steuern zahlen muss.Jacket was received in a timely fashion however not as shown and advertised. There was no fur on hood. I would not order from this supplier again.Nice coat but got an XL and fit like XXXL.
