Hard to figure out sizes - I'd recommend going with the larger size if you are debating between two. My son just turned 10 years old - he may be a tad bit bigger than an average 10 yo, but I went by feet size and ordered him an adult large. It fits perfectly. We went to Karate the other day, and another boy had ordered an adult small - and it was just way too small. The product itself is wonderful - quick on and quick off, the velcro is attached securely - so a great buy for the money. I ordered this package even though I knew I wouldn't be using the foot gear for awhile, because the price for the entire package was cheaper than getting just the head gear and the gloves separately. Great Deal, quick shipping, no complaints
