Product Description

As the newly created Maximalist footwear category continues to thrive, Tactical Research by Belleville introduces the new MAXX Series of ultra-cushioned tactical boots. Designed with a unique performance FATT MAXX midsole that features higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard tactical boots, the MAXX Series of boots allow for the foot to sink deeply into the midsole for greater support, stability, uniformity of stride and overall comfort.

These are fantastic. Tore tendons in both feet a month ago. Yesterday I hobbled around in pretty darn good boots with good inserts. Barely able to walk the minimal 3 mile route I use to train my dog. On my feet most all day long at work was agony. Had these for 24 hrs and the difference is hard to believe. The limited flex of the sole is what I need for my feet to heal. The padding and fit is absolutely perfect. The contour of the sole promotes an even and effortless stride though the rigidity limits the feel of the terrain underfoot. Put in twice the miles compare to yesterday and worked the dog to her limit. Now my feet have a chance to heal and life goes back to normal.Best imaginable boots for me for now. Obviously I can’t comment on durability and frankly don’t care as long as they last a month while I heal, they are totally worth every penny.UpdateAfter several weeks and a couple hundred miles these pass every test. I have worn these every day and am very impressed. They have far surpassed my expectations. They have relaxed just a bit and the flex is reasonable though for my purposes I’d have been happier had they stayed perfectly rigid. The tread has held up remarkably well and I am not seeing any signs of wear as some reviewers mention. They have stayed presentable despite my benign abuse. Looking at getting a second pair to keep at work.
