VooDoo has a well deserved reputation for making high quality items for outdoor activities. I also have one of their 2 rifle carrying cases, and it is so well made that when I was looking for a range bag it was an easy decision to purchase this range bag.Zippers are strong with capability to be locked together with a combination lock. Plenty of room and compartments. I carry extra ammo - (2) 50 rd boxes, (10) extra magazines, an auto loader, a small cleaning kit, safety glasses, electronic ear/hearing protection earmuffs, ear plugs, and a metal lock box for two handguns.The material is sturdy, but as one other reviewer said, the stitching is a bit on the light side. But the straps and handle are large and sturdy, particularly for the small size of this bag. Speaking of which, the bag is a little smaller than I had hoped for. If you are taking no more than two handguns in this bag with no more than a few hundred rounds of ammo and just incidentals (like pens, paper, small targets, target stickers, eye protection, etc) and your hearing protection can be slung on the outside of the bag through the handle strap, then you will like this bag. If you try to carry "4 or more pistols" as this bag advertises, plus anything else meaningful for the range, then I suggest you look for a bigger bag. I purchased this bag for 2 or maybe 3 pistols and stuff for two shooters (me and my son) and usually carry my ammo in a separate can and my two hearing protection headsets easily sling through the handle on the outside of the bag, so it fits my intended needs just fine. If you're just shooting 22 like one of the other reviewers, then obviously that ammo will fit in the bag just fine (it takes a lot more space and is much heavier to carry 400 rounds of 45 versus 22). My four stars is largely because I think $53 is a little steep for what you get. The bag is nice enough and will probably last okay for some time and suits my needs, but it should have cost at least $10 if not $20 less.This is my 2nd VooDoo Tactical scorpion range bag and it doesn't disappoint. I still have my 1st one but this decide to get another as an alternate cleaning kit bag. Same rugged construction with small changes. The main compartment flap is rounded not flat with the small velcro closure tip removed. both zippers can now be locked ans the strip of cloth connecting them has an added plastic strip. Compartments remain the same as does the thick heavy construction. The stitching is up to par and will hold up to heavy use (heavy use an in daily range trips.) Keep in mind this isn't a bag for heavy outdoor use like camping. Can hold a 4" pistol and several boxes of ammo. In mine i carry ear and eye protection, a full cleaning kit, four 4 ounce bottles of oils and cleaners and have plenty of space left over. Aside from the main compartment it also has 2 outside pockets and small pockets on each end of the bag plus at least 4 more inside. I absolutely love this bag and have had one for over 10 years and still going. Expect no less from this one. Yes, it's made and China, but the quality is very highI’m reviewing the VooDoo Tactical “Scorpion” model range bag; color desert tan, purchased in May, 2016. First, I really appreciate the vendor, Military Luggage Company, for getting this to me far ahead of the projected delivery date. They even included a complementary, black duffle bag.The range bag is high quality and I’m very pleased with it. The descriptions on Amazon, and on the VooDoo Tactical website, are accurate. It is well designed and constructed. Outer walls have thin, but effective internal padding. There’re plenty of room in the two largest pockets, 1 internal and one external, for the two pistols I usually carry, plus my ear protection muffs, ammo, glasses, stick-on targets, field cleaning kit, tools, and misc. items I take to indoor and outdoor ranges. The numerous other pockets inside and out have strong hook/loop strips that hold them firmly closed. Webbing for carry straps and shoulder strap hook points is heavy and securely sewn. For extra protection of the inside bottom of the bag, I found a piece of plastic, corrugated board (also available at Home Depot and possibly sign shops that make yard signs) which I cut to size and put on top of the original bag bottom/reinforcement panel.I chose this bag because I didn't want anything too large so this medium size was perfect for me. The bag is really sturdy and well made and I wasn't able to find any loose or frayed stitching. The bag fit everything I needed to carry without to much extra space that would make me want to find more stuff to fill it with. The only thing I would really change is I would like the end pockets to be slightly larger but that is really just personal preference because the small pair of binoculars just barely fit in the end pocket but again that is personal preference and wouldn't really affect you if you have other plans for that pocket. Overall I would rate it about a 4 1/2 out of 5 but since you can't do half stars I rounded it up to an even 5.I had my doubts when I first purchased the bag; but after it arrived, it proved to be more than capable of carrying the load. It is big enough to carry my 380 conceal and carry, as well as a S&W model 59 9mm; and my K-2 45. I also have about 6 extra magazines and 500 rounds of ammo along with cleaning kit inside. It still has a few empty pockets and enough room for another 500 rounds of ammo. This bag is very well made, and extremely durable. I am thinking about purchasing another one for my son.This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It is the perfect size for several handguns and all of the accessories. In addition I carry two sets of full size hearing protection, eye protection, multi tool, first aid kit, and other essentials. High quality construction.Excellent Product!
